Monster

When her son starts acting strangely, a mother suspects his teacher's involvement and storms into school to demand answers, only to discover there is more to it than she thought.

Thelma

When 93 year old Thelma is scammed by someone on the phone posing as her grandson, she sets off across the city to track down the perpetrator and reclaim what is hers.

The Holdovers

Unable to travel home due to a long period of heavy snow, a cranky history teacher at a prep school, is forced to remain on campus during the Christmas holidays.  Also stranded there with him is a grieving cook and the most disruptive student in the school, who has nowhere to go.

A drama based on the life of Nicholas 'Nicky' Winton, a young London broker who, leading up to the outbreak of World War II, rescued over 600 children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia.

The Old Oak

The future of the last remaining pub, The Old Oak, in a village of Northeast England, is in jeopardy. People are leaving as the mines have closed and housing becomes cheap and available, thus making it an ideal location for Syrian refugees. This, however, causes tension in the community.

A war veteran, Bernard, wishing to attend the 70th Anniversary of the D Day landings in Normandy, misses his connection to get there. Undeterred, he demonstrates his 'can do’ spirit by escaping from his Care Home and making the journey in his own way.
