Based on the book by Raynor Winn, which recently attracted some controversy, the story tells of how she and her husband lose their home and decide to embark on a trek around the coast of mainland Britain to boos their spirits. Along the way, however, her husband is diagnosed with a terminal illness.

National Theatre Live production of the gripping play written by David Ireland. It explores the issues of addiction and the complexity of recovery through the relationship of two Alcoholics Anonymous members, James (Martin Freeman) acting as mentor to the new recruit, Luka (Jack Lowden). The fifth step, refers to the point in the process of recovery at which Luka is encouraged to confess, which threatens to jeopardize their relationship.
A choral society's male members enlist in World War 1, leaving the demanding Dr. Guthrie to recruit teenagers. Together, they experience the joy of singing while the young boys grapple with their impending conscription into the army.
